About the Artist
Ron Le Blanc
Whimsical multimedia fine art shaped by the color, character, and coastal spirit of the Florida Keys.
The Practice
A Sense of Place
Ron Le Blanc creates original watercolor and pen-and-ink works that find delight in the everyday details of the Florida Keys.
Each piece begins with close observation: vivid colors, weathered architecture, native wildlife, and the small moments that give the Keys their unmistakable character.
The Approach
Made With Curiosity
The work balances careful draftsmanship with an open, playful sensibility, allowing line, color, and texture to carry the story.
Ron’s studio practice is rooted in the belief that art can preserve a feeling of place while inviting viewers to see familiar surroundings with fresh attention.
Artist Statement
Art With Island Spirit
Ron Le Blanc’s work celebrates the Florida Keys as both a landscape and a state of mind: vivid, idiosyncratic, and full of quiet surprises.
Working across watercolor and pen-and-ink, Ron builds images that are at once precise and imaginative. The resulting pieces honor the region’s distinctive visual language without losing the warmth and humor that make it feel lived in.
“I want each piece to hold a little of the Keys’ light, rhythm, and sense of wonder.”
Ron Le Blanc
Whether encountered as an original work or as part of a growing collection, each artwork offers an invitation to linger, look closely, and carry a bit of the Keys with you.
